Allan Powers

GTCO Position:   GTCO owner, Girls Team and Tumbling Coach
Experience and Involvement:  Allan Powers is the owner of The Gymnastics Training Center of Ohio, and one of the original founders.  Allan graduated form Michigan State University in 1988, and did graduate work at the University of Cincinnati.  Allan has been involved from grade school through college as a competitive gymnast.  High School state champion, USAG champion, and Big Ten champion as well as two time NCAA National Qualifier are a few of the highlights in his competitive experience.  After his competitive career was over Allan realized the thrill of imparting his knowledge and love of the sport to others.  Whether it be with a high level competitor, or a first time student the satisfaction of teaching is one of life’s great rewards.
General info and Hobbies:   He is the father of two daughters, each involved with the competitive program. He looks forward to many more years helping enrich the lives of all those involved in the facility.
Alaska Richard

GTCO Position:   Preschool Instructor
Experience and Involvement: Alaska started as an instructor at GTCO the Summer of 2007.
General info and Hobbies:   She has been a gymnast at GTCO since the age of 10. She was a Level 9 National Qualifier on 2005 and 2007. She currently competes on Level 10 and enjoys every day she spends at GTCO. Alaska is a junior at Dayton Christian High School.
Amibeth Hardy

GTCO Position:   Gymnastics Coach and Instructor
Experience and Involvement: Amibeth was a gymnast for 14 years and attained Level 10 status.  She is an USAG judge and is in the process to attain her Level 10 status for judging.
General info and Hobbies:   Amibeth has two Bachelor Degree's in Education (physical education and integrated social studies).  She also has a Master of Education with an emphasis in Developmental Kinesiology.  Besides the time she devotes to GTCO, she also teaches at Academy at Minds. When she is not at the gym, she enjoys running and spending time with family and friends.
Becki Tolson

GTCO Position:   N/A
Experience and Involvement:   Becki was involved in gymnastics in junior and high school. She is excited to become part of the GTCO Staff.
General info and Hobbies:   Becki has a B.A. in Social Work from Miami Univerisity. Her daughter, Hayley, currently competes Level 7 for GTCO. Becki enjoys being outdoors and watching her daughter in gymnastics.
Beth Cox

GTCO Position:   Preschool Director
Experience and Involvement:   Beth has been teaching for 12 years and loves being around kids.
General info and Hobbies:   She is happily married to David and they have five kids, two dogs, one cat and a bird.

Cassy Thomas

GTCO Position:   All-Star Co-Director and Cheer Coach
Experience and Involvement:   Cassy was a Gymnast at GTCO since her childhood all the way up to high school.  She then made a transition and cheered all-star at GTCO.  She also cheered for high school and then, became part of the Wright State University Co-Ed Cheer Team. Cassy has coached gymnastics for 6 years and all-star cheerleading for 5 years.  During those years she instructed at YMCA, WSU Jr Raiders and GTCO.
General info and Hobbies:    She is also teaches Math and Science in middle school.
David Cambizaca

GTCO Position:   Boys and Girls Team Coach

Debbie Streithorst

GTCO Position:   Gymnastics Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Debbie was a gymnast for 4 years.   Debbie has been coaching for 10 years. She has been involved with Preschool, Tumblegarten and Gymnastics teams. Debbie is an USGA member, as well as being USGA Safety Certified.

Don Sellman

GTCO Position:   Program Director, Boys Team Coach
Experience and Involvement:   Mr. Sellman founded GTCO approximately 17 years ago.  GTCO has been an extreme success thanks to Mr. Sellman.  He has been coaching for 25 years and throughout these years he has achieved numerous National Qualifiers.

Donna Johnson

GTCO Position:   Tumbling Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Donna has been involved with GTCO since 1998. Throughout the years she has coached Preschool, Tumblegarten, Tumbling, Educational and Cheer Classes. Donna was one of Mr. Sellman's gymnasts.
General info and Hobbies:   Donna is licensed in property/casualty and life/health insurance. During her leisure time, she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her daughters.
Erin Bittner

GTCO Position:   Preschool Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Erin was a gymnast for 8 years and trained at GTCO for 5 years.  She competed up to Level 8.  She is very excited to become a member of the GTCO Staff.
General info and Hobbies:   Erin is a Sophomore in High School.  She is also part of the GTCO Volts Competitive Cheer, All-Star Srs Team.
Faye Campana

GTCO Position:   Girls Team Coach and Director
Experience and Involvement:   Faye competed at Indiana State University as an all-around gymnast. She has been coaching for 25 years. Coaching and judging is a lifelong commitment to her. Faye primarily coaches Girls Teams, however, she has also been involved with preschool and instructional classes.
General info and Hobbies:   Faye has earned a National Judging Rating, Safety Certification and she is a National USA Gymnastics Judge. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Teaching Physical Education and Health. Faye has taught group fitness for 10 years. She enjoys staying active by working out and spending time with her family Tony, Nick, Alex and husband, Mark.
Jake Chamberlain

GTCO Position:   Gymnastics Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Jake was a Gymnast at GTCO, coached by Mr. Sellman and Allan Powers. He has been coaching at GTCO for 4 years now. He is involved with Tumblegarten, Gymnastics Level 1, 2 and 3, Tumbling Classes and Girls Team Level 4.
General info and Hobbies:   As a Hobby, Jake likes to ride Professional Freestyle on his dirt bike. He went to Franklin High School. All of his family are involved in the Boys and Girls Gymnastics Teams.
Janel O'Sullivan

GTCO Position:   Gymnastics Coach
Experience and Involvement:   Janel was a competitive gymnast for 12 years. During her competitive career, she was Region runner-up, Regional Bars and Floor Champion, as well as competing at a National level. Later, she became a collegiate cheerleader. Janel has coached for 24 years and she has been involved with all levels. Presently, she is working with homeschooled gymnasts Level 5-7.
General info and Hobbies:   Janel has judged gymnastics for 10 years. She received her B.S. in Christian Education in 1990 from Nyack College in Nyack, NY. Janel enjoys spending time with her two daughters Katie and Shannon as well as with her husband Dan.
Janey Schneider

GTCO Position:   GTCO Receptionist
Experience and Involvement:   Janey has been working at GTCO for almost 4 years now. She loves being around the kids as she added "I would not work anywhere else."
General info and Hobbies:   Janey enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She likes to play Golf, travel, read and having her dogs around.
Jennifer Carder
GTCO Position:   Preschool Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Jennifer competed in dance when she was in high school. Then she choreographed several school plays as well as cheerleading individuals and dance routines. She has been coaching Preschool at GTCO for approximately 4 years.
General info and Hobbies:   Jennifer has coached her son’s Soccer and Basketball teams.
Jonna Chrisman

GTCO Position:   Gift Shop Director
Experience and Involvement:   Jonna began the Tumble Time Treasure 4 years ago. The store has evolved from a tiny store into a large gift shop. They travel throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky for Gymnastics Meets.

Kathy McAdams

GTCO Position:   Preschool Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Kathy has been with GTCO for 5 years. She noticed how much her own kids enjoyed being at GTCO that she started coaching here. She loves working with all the 3-year olds and strongly believes GTCO is a great place for kids.
General info and Hobbies:   Kathy works at IBM through the week. She loves physical fitness and she works out at least 5 times/week. She believes all the children are very special and she loves spending her time with them.
Missy Hart

GTCO Position:   Gymnastics Coach
Experience and Involvement:   Miss was a gymnast at Queen City for 12 years, and competed at the Elite level for 4 years. She also received a full gymnastics scholarship to Ohio State University. Missy has been coaching gymnastics for 13 years at all levels. She has coached everything from 2-year olds to Optional Gymnasts. She is Safety Certified through USA gymnastics and she is also CPR Certified.
General info and Hobbies:   Missy graduated from Ohio Stat University with a Business degree, double majoring in Marketing and International Business. She is happily married to Rob and they have a beautiful 5 year old daughter.
Nancy Eben

Rachel Osborne

GTCO Position:   Tumbling Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Rachel competed in gymnastics for most of her childhood and young adulthood. Her coaches made a huge impact in her life and instilled such strong self-descipline in her. She has every intention to to pass on that experience to the girls she coaches.
General info and Hobbies:   Rachel graduated from Troy Christian in 2005. She is currently attending Wright State University, majoring in Business. Rachel enjoys track, swimming, movies, singing, reading and rock climbing.
Rob Stricker

GTCO Position:   All-Star Cheer and Tumbling Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Rob was part the Collegiate Cheerleading team at Wright State University for 5 years. He has also coached the Jr. Raider program for 3 years. He has also been former staff of two major cheerleading competition companies, Americheer and COA (Cheerleaders of America). Rob has been with GTCO since summer of 2007 and we are excited to have him as part of the GTCO Staff family.
General info and Hobbies:   Rob earned his undergrad in education from Wright Sate University. He is now pursuing his Master at the University of Dayton. He currently teaches Business at Beavercreek High School. Rob is a fan of the Bengals, Notre Dame, Kentucky Football and Basketball respectively.
Samantha Curtis

GTCO Position:   All-Star Cheer and Tumbling Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Samantha did gymnastics through level 6. She has been part of all-star and school teams. During her years of involvement, her teams won several National titles. Samantha has been coaching for a total of 3 years. In addition to her devoted time to coaching she has also done choreography for several local schools.
General info and Hobbies:   Samantha is currently attending Wright State University, majoring in Communications.
Steve Leopold

GTCO Position:   Tumbling Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Steve started gymnastics at the age of 9 under Mr. Sellman at Franklin during junior high. He continued on the Franklin team through his senior year and lettered all 4 years. Steve was an All American his Junior and Senior year on both floor and vault. Steve has been coaching since 1990. He started at GTCO in 1992 and has been with us ever since. He coached full time for 5 years and he felt priviledged of teaching every class GTCO offered. He is also USGF Saftey Certified.
General info and Hobbies:   His hobbies are his kids and family.
Susan Garland

GTCO Position:   Preschool Instructor
Experience and Involvement:   Susan was a former USGF competitor growing up. She competed on Ball State Univeristy's Womens Gymnastics Team. After her first child walked, she knew she wanted her in the gym. Susan has been coaching at GTCO for 6 years now. She has taught Preschool and Tumblegarten.
General info and Hobbies:   Susan has earned MS in Education. She has tought middle school for 10 years and she currently teaches Sunday School at Springboro Baptist Church.
Susie Bliss

GTCO Position:   Front Desk Receptionist
Experience and Involvement:   Susie works at the front desk. She has two girls on the GTCO Comepetitive Team.
General info and Hobbies:   Susie is happily married and has two daughters. Hobbies include reading and cooking with her daughters. She enjoys rainy summer nights, fall colors and she loves mexican food.
Tami Chimberlain

GTCO Position:   Front Desk Receptionist
Experience and Involvement:   Tami has been working at the front desk for about 4 years, she is in charge of team billing. And she is involved with the boosters and handles the competitive team accounts. Tami is also the Meet Director for Boys and Girls Meets held at GTCO. Tami is USAG Safety Certified.
General info and Hobbies:   Tami is from Franklin, she is married and has 7 children - all of whom have been part of, or currently are on the gymnastics teams. They have been involved at GTCO for 16 years and now four of them instruct classes. Tami enjoys spending time with her family and being involved in numerous church activities.
Victor Zamora

GTCO Position:   All-Star Cheer Director, Coach, Tumbling Instructor and GTCO Webmaster
Experience and Involvement:   Victor was in collegiate cheer teams at the University of Cincinnati and Wright State University for 4 years. He has also been part of COA staff, as well as being involved in camps, clinics and competitions for school cheer teams. Victor first started at GTCO in 2004 as an all-star and tumbling coach and throughout the years he escalated up to his current position. In 2006 Victor was promoted to direct the GTCO All-Star Cheer Program. With help and support of Cassy Thomas and Allan Powers, entirely with a new identity, the GTCO all-star program was taken to a whole new level--now better known as The GTCO Volts. General info and Hobbies:   Victor has earned a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics. He is former founder of Visual Capture, which offers graphic and web design, as well as e-marketing and e-commerce services. Victor enjoys staying active, traveling with his cheerleaders and spending time with friends and family.
